The winner of the Lord Walter Fitzgerald 2025 prize is Melissa Sheils for her essay “The Fair Geraldine and Tudor Court, Proximity, Persuasion and Presents.”
The process was very competitive with a very high standard of entrants. The prize will be awarded later this year at a supper in Martinstown House. As well as excellent research and study, Melissa has recreated the garments worn at Tudor Court in the traditional manner. A worthy winner.
