 Dear Booklover,

Our next Book Fair is on this Sunday and  our Book Dealers have managed to put together as fine a collection of books for your delectation as it is possible . History , Literature, Illustrated, Poetry Ephemera, Postcards and many First Editions. Thousands of books, mostly out of print and unavailable elsewhere. Well worth a browse.

Listed below are some of the items being offered by dealers. So the moral is get in early before they are gone. We will also have a dealer from Clare who is exhibiting for the first time, so who knows what surprises he has?

Schull Books of Cork will have A Letter to the Rt Hon Robert Peel, MP,  on the present state of the Catholic Question by An Irish Catholic [William Bullen] and inscribed by him. Original full leather, VG

 

Allod Books of Dublin, in addition to their special selection of fine books, will be offering a gathering of 19th and early 20th-century tourist /travel/topographical guides to Ireland.

 

Dublin Bookbrowsers are offering Signed note & letter by Dan Breen Tipperary Rebel Leader; First editions of Padraig Yeates Lockout Dublin 1913; A rare 1966 publication by the GAA refuting the Roger Casement Slanders; The Works of Geoffrey Chaucer (1721) & lots of fantastic books at unbeatable prices.

 

Eamonn de Burca, who continues to publish fine books of Irish  interest will be launching two of his most recent publications at the Book Fair   MELVIN, Patrick. Estates and Landed Society in Galway. With a foreword by Desmond Fitzgerald, Knight of Glin. Illustrated. Dublin: De Búrca, December, 2012. pp. 512. Full buckram gilt. And a limited edition of 50 copies only in full goatskin.

Book Fair is wheelchair friendly and children with adult are welcome and free. Parking is free to patrons of the Book Fair but do collect your Parking Permit at the Admissions desk as many people go directly to car park and pay for parking.
