This conference, exploring the life and times of St Brigid and her Church of Kildare from the 5th to the 9th centuries, is taking place in Maynooth University on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th September

Professor Professor Catherine McKenna is delivering a free public lecture on the Friday evening titled ‘Brigid: the knowns and unknowns’ (preceded by drinks reception from 6.45PM onwards). There is also a programme of talks taking place throughout most of Friday and also on Saturday morning. A guided tour of Kildare town and Cathedral is taking place on the Saturday afternoon.
