While watching a promotional video for Co. Kildare on YouTube I noticed what might be two carved stones, high up on the round tower in Kildare Cathedral. The video was taken using a drone. It is probably the first time in the round tower’s history that it has been viewed from bottom to top, close up. Paul Brerton, who published the video, has kindly permitted me to use the material.
