This year in keeping with the 1,000 year anniversary and celebration of the battle of Clontarf we will hold our A.G.M in Clontarf to mark the occasion. We thank the Clontarf Historical Society for kindly agreeing to host this, our flagship event in the calendar year.
The A.G.M. will be held in the Clasac Irish Cultural Centre, 61 Alfie Byrne Road and lunch will be in the Bram Stoker Hotel, 225 Clontarf Road. This will be followed by a guided historical walk on the Clontarf seafront and an optional sojourn to ClontarfCastle for a little libation and chat to end the day.
We would ask members to support the event. It is your A.G.M. so we welcome you along to make a contribution with your ideas and suggestions so helping the Federation better meet your needs.
It is also an opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones.
Programme
9.45 – 10.30 Registration – Tea/coffee
10.30 – 10.45 Official Opening.
10.45 – 12.15 Official A.G.M business, minutes, reports, election of
Officers/Committee and A.O.B.
12.15 – 13.30 Society Spake
13.30 – 15.00 Lunch
15.00 – 17.00 Guided tour at Clontarf seafront.
There will be a delegate fee of €5.00 for all those attending the event payable on the day.
Lunch will be a two course meal at the Bram Stoker Hotel, cost €19.00.. Those requiring a meal should include cheque with reply slip.
